Big Aengus had a tough start - he was rescued from a dumpster as a pup, and the family that did that, then abandoned him chained to their house when they moved. My husband rescued him from that situation when Big A was about two. For the last six years, he’s had a happy, healthy life as our sweet cuddle bug who is the best dog in the entire multiverse. He’s afraid of the dark, so we make sure and turn all of the lights on for him when he goes outside at night. He doesn’t like thunderstorms, so we make him thunder forts and crawl into them with him. I never knew just how much my heart could open up to a pup. We love him so much! Our favorite sentence is “YOU’RE COMIN TOOOO” when we can bring him places. He stood with us at our wedding, and when the crowd cheered at us being pronounced man and wife, he excitedly dragged the “best lady” across the stage because “whooHOOHooHOOOO” is his favorite word. He’s also just incredibly cute, and we’d love to see him on a label!
