Pickles Leland Vahey is what you would call a... fiesty cat. He started off 2023 with a bang by joining his family (a harrowing tale of his mom needing to arrive one hour before opening time at HSC to scoop him up as he was a hot commodity), and has been enjoying the domestic life ever since. He tolerates his fish and frog siblings, and has not tried to eat them even though seafood is his preference. His favorite pastime is bouncing a balloon on his head, much like our beloved CLT Football Club players. He also loves sitting on an open windowsill and breathing in the Queen City pollen and watching our state bird, the Cardinal. Pickles is - in his opinion - one of the most handsome cats to ever grace Mecklenburg county, and he reminds us every day by stretching out in the craziest positions. We also like to think he would hop on the LYNX and imbibe in a NoDa Brewing Coco Loco were he given the opportunity. Help him achieve his model dreams and get his long whiskers and curly chin on a can!
