Betty is a sweet old soul who loves to smell for squirrels and rabbits in the backyard. We got her from a rescue where they told her she was given up because she wasn’t a good hunting dog. You can tell she probably lived in a kennel with no human contact and outdoors most of her short little life. She doesn’t get too excited to see people but she adores other dogs. She spends her days outside barking at the scents in the backyard and being taunted by the squirrels. She comes in to nap, eat lots of treats, be a little naughty, and every once in a while give us a little attention. She’s the queen of the house now and she deserves all of it. One day she is going to wag her tail with excitement or change her facial expression from the grumpy dog expression she has all day. Our other two dogs who passed away last year were both from the humane society, we would love nothing more than to raise money for such a great organization. Please vote for Betty!
