My husband and I have two cats and knew that we both missed having a dog in the family. It was never a question that it would be a rescue. In February, we rescued Tico through the SPCA of Charlotte. He and his sister had been abandoned by their owners, and were running the streets. We named him Tico because that’s a term near and dear to our hearts. A few years ago, we honeymooned in Costa Rica. Tico is a term for a man in Costa Rica, who is thought of as friendly, welcoming, and warm. That couldn’t be a better description for this affectionate little guy. He’d be the perfect pup to slide your stool up to at the bar and order a hop drop and roll. He’s a very loved member of the family and we think he’d be a terrific ambassador for positivity through your new rescue brew. He could remind people that the impact of rescuing is not only valuable for the rescued, but for the rescuer as well.
