Louie had a really rough start in life. He was found flea-ridden and starving, abandoned in a locked room in a mobile home with no air conditioning in the middle of July in rural NC last summer. He was living in absolute squalor, amongst several deceased and severely injured and neglected dogs. He was one of three dogs rescued by Remembering Ruthie Rescue and Sanctuary has been living the sweet life with me since September 2022. He enjoys going for long walks, chasing squirrels, eating treats, and playing with his favorite stuffed bunny. He has every excuse in the world to not trust people after everything he’s been through, but he is just a total love who will snuggle anyone at any chance he gets. I may be biased, but he is definitely the cutest pomeranian mix in Charlotte to me!
