Hazel is a Jack Russell mix found running down a four lane highway in SC and rescued by the Carolina Poodle Rescue. In typical Jack Russell fashion she is scrappy, fearless and yet the sweetest girl who just wants a belly rub. She is currently being treated for heartworm and has been a very good girl despite being on restricted activity. She would love to represent rescue dogs and the Charlotte Humane Society to demonstrate the resilient, fun loving, sweet nature of rescue dogs who just want to be loved.
