We had the pleasure of picking up Socks from the Charlotte Humane Society last August! This 11 month old kitty has THE MOST affectionate, goofy personality. Socks loves to go from being the cutest little cuddle bug with his family to a ferocious, bloodthirsty hellcat with his toys. You see, loud purring and loud snarls are just signs that Socks is having a lot of fun, only in very different ways. He loves the food the shelter recommended—perhaps a bit too much given that he’s quadrupled in size. This doesn’t slow him down however. No, no. Socks is known to sprint randomly across the apartment and over furniture. Sometimes to chase his big sister Turnip, other times just for the thrill of it. He’d love it if you donated to the shelter that helped bring him to his forever home, and surely would be stoked to be nominated as Queen City Kitty!
