Tell us about your pet and why they should win!Hippo was found behind a dumpster in south end Charlotte. Poor guy had a broken leg in two places and was set to have it amputated. However, we casted him and he started miraculously healing! He’s truly the definition of a rescue needing all the love and prayers to get through the beginning trauma of his life. He has been such a character since the day I took him home. This boy absolutely loves his momma and isn’t happy unless he’s touching her in some way. He’s such a joy to my life and the best rescue I could have asked for!
