Tell us about your pet and why they should win!
We adopted Jasper from the HSC in July 2022! Jasper is the first dog that our family has owned, and we have had a blast learning all about each other! Jasper has lots of energy (as many rescue dogs do!), and he loves to burn it off by taking sniffy walks, playing tug of war, chasing squeaky toys, and barking at the wildlife that passes by! Jasper has already visited three national parks and loves to hike and spend time outdoors with his family.

When Jasper is not out and about on an adventure, he sure shows us his softer side! He loves cuddling and snuggling with his favorite people. Jasper is a very smart pup and has had several rounds of training with the HSC in the years we have owned him, which is helping him to progress into a confident and mature dog…with still some growth to be had!

Jasper has brought such joy, laughter, and love into our home, and we are beyond thankful that this sweet boy came into our lives! Jasper should win because his handsome face on a cold can of Rescue Brew will warm any Charlottean’s heart!
