This is Gatsby. We met 8 years ago, when I was walking through the Humane Society with a friend, thinking I wasn’t looking for a dog. Gatsby had just arrived, and was not yet adoptable, but I was in instantly in love. For a week, I sat outside with him during my lunch breaks, my name at the top of the list to get a call when he was ready for adoption. Finally the day came when I picked him up and brought him home.

Gatsby is my best friend and my shadow. Everyone who meets him - literally everyone - says, “I think me and your dog have a special connection”. He makes friends quickly that way. He’s goofy and playful, loves to run and dig holes, has the cutest awooooo and the sweetest soul. We love him with everything we have, and we also love beer, so this win could be very cool.
