Tell us about your pet and why they should win!Meet Baldr! He was originally found with an inoperable bullet wound in his left back leg, which required amputation. Luckily, the incident never changed his big personality, and with a lot of love from the Animal Adoption League, he had a quick recovery! We adopted him through the AAL at around 9mo and he's been part of the family ever since!
Baldr is generally an easy going guy - he loves lounging and watching TV with us. However, that pesky missing leg has never stopped him from zipping around the house when he has the zoomies, or climbing up the highest cat tree to get the best view. He often sits and lays with his one back leg hanging or sticking out, so we often call it his "turkey leg" or his "kick stand".
I'm nominating Baldr because he's proof that even if a pet has a difficult past, it doesn't mean they aren't ready to settle into a loving home and become one of the best companions you'll ever have.
