We rescued Bubbles brother, Puddy, in 2016 in WV and moved to Mooresville in 2018. Puddy was an outdoor cat and enjoyed running and playing with the other cats, but couldn’t be outdoors where we moved. Puddy became depressed and we decided to adopt “Cookie Monster” from the Lake Norman Humane Society in 2020. Bubbles was a stray with FIV but is very loving and when he flopped at my feet for belly rubs at our first meeting, I knew he would fit with our family. Bubbles matches Puddy’s reserved nature with his spunky vibe. Bubbles loves food and trash like bottle caps, string, boxes, and bags and he keeps Puddy on his toes. They love chasing each other around the house, but also snuggling on their heating pads or sniffing fresh air at the window or climbing their cat trees. This picture shows Bubbles in his most inquisitive manner after I put some herbs up to dry. He just had to get in there to smell and taste. Don’t worry it was moved after I got him down, but that’s our sweet, curious, energetic, playful big boy that brings us and his brother joy and love every day.
