Jasper was an underweight 6 month old stray roaming the streets of Charlotte when he was rescued by Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control . We found him at their December open house looking very ready for his forever family - his striking brindle coat and sweet, goofy face were hard to resist! When asked his breed we jokingly say he is half tiger. It was the best Christmas present we could have asked for. He is now a very happy, sweet, treat-loving solid boy (no more ribs showing) who loves everyone he meets (except squirrels - he hates squirrels!). He has been a wonderful addition to our family and our neighborhood where he has made many new dog friends. We are so grateful to Animal Control and other groups like the Humane Society for all their hard work allowing us to rescue these wonderful pets and adding such cherished members to our family.
