Coal was adopted through the Charlotte ASPCA. He and his seven siblings were rescued from a field where his mom had been shot but she was still protecting her babies. The whole family was saved and they have all been adopted. Coal is a great representative for why it's important to adopt. He's now part of my shadow, going everywhere I go and a treasured part of our family.
