We got Ashe two summers ago. We picked him because he was one of the few dogs in the shelter who was calm and quiet. He came to the glass door and held his paw to the door and I could see he was trembling. He has such a sweet and loving demeanor - and has been that way ever since. Oh, and he’s so handsome! He loves to paw and he loves to cuddle. We named him Ashe bc he came to HSC from the Asheville HS and we also love the mtns in Ashe County. He’s a people person and has joined our family of 5, with three kids, and he’s their new BFF.
