Rigby went from stray puppy to shelter dog at Union County Animal Shelter to part of the Newsome family all within his first seven months of life. Since becoming part of the family, he’s showed more love towards both humans and animals than any other pet I’ve had. He gives kisses to the cats after their vet visits, he plays Lassie when our other dog who doesn’t bark needs to go outside, and he was most forgiving of the vet that performed surgery on his perianal tumors a year and a half ago. He has the sweetest soul and the biggest love of cheese you will ever see. He’s getting older but certainly not slower, and continues every day to protect us from the big brown dog known as the UPS. And, as you can see in the picture, he’s completely adorable.
