Kodjo may be an old man, but he's still my baby boy! "Kodjo" is a Ghanaian name given to boys born on a Monday which is the day our family took him home from the shelter. We met when he was just 2 months old and we have been growing up together ever since. Every couch in the house is his throne and he will make it clear that we need to intervene whenever there's a pillow in his spot. His hobbies include napping, basking in the sun, getting belly rubs, and going for walks in his new stroller. Kodjo would say he's also very skilled in the fine art of eating treats.

He always wants to be around people, whether that be during dinnertime or while watching a movie. Every person he meets is a new friend and he's always ready to share his love.

He is incredibly smart, silly, and maybe a bit stinky in the best way!

Kodjo has a million nicknames in our family (Shaba, Kodjika, Karaba, etc.) but the one name that everyone should know him as is Top Dog!
