Clark was adopted when he was a few months old in Shelby, NC. When we arrived to get him, he was asleep in a dirt pen outside in the middle of spring. He was part of the “superhero litter,” and we decided to keep the name Clark because our family loves the movie National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. We got him shortly after our childhood dog passed away, so he brought a lot of joy during a sad time. He is the sweetest boy—but also a bit of a scaredy-cat. He loves playing with his older brother and younger sister. He is very protective of his yard and sleeps on a king-sized bed with his own pillow at night. We don’t really know what kind of dog he is, but he’s the best boy and is always excited to see everyone he loves. His favorite toys are his many, many Lambchops. My favorite thing about Clark is how he always cries when we walk past the dog statue in our neighbor’s yard. Also, he does not like having his paws touched, so when they’re muddy from playtime, there’s no stopping the mess he brings inside.
