Champ was surrendered to the Humane Society in Concord as a young puppy with a "broken leg". After further medical evaluation, they discovered that he had a brain injury. After treating Champ and giving him a loving foster home for recovery, they were able to nurse him back to health and he has made a full recovery. My husband and I adopted him earlier this month and he is a typical, playful, and sometimes naughty, puppy. We're so grateful for organizations like the Humane Society and the tremendous work they put in to saving animals like Champ every day!
