Skye along with her 5 siblings were found by the Columbus County Sheriff and brought to Animal Protective Services. She then was taken to Peak Lab Rescue in Raleigh. We were able to adopt her and she has changed our lives! She is so loving and has brought so much joy to us. We can't imagine our lives without Skye. She makes us smile everyday. Skye deserves to win because she represents the pure, unconditional joy that only a pet can bring. Beyond her big brown eyes, her poofy golden fur and stuffed animal qualities, she has a spirit that brightens the room of everyone she meets. She isn't just "the best pet"—to us, she is a hero, a best friend, and the greatest teammate we could ever ask for. We hope you see the same magic in Skye that we do every single day!
