Willie came to us malnourished, scared, and unsure of people. It was clear he had never known real love or safety. With patience and time, he slowly began to trust. Today, Willie is a completely different dog—healthy, happy, and full of personality. He has formed an incredible bond with us and finally feels safe in his home. Watching him gain confidence, learn new tricks, and simply enjoy life has been the greatest reward. Willie represents what rescue is all about: giving a dog a second chance and watching them truly thrive. He has finally found his place in our family (and in our bed ☺️)!
