Leo is a low rider who loves his walks, belly rubs, and lounging on a patio with his mom and dad at local breweries! A mixed breed of dachshund, beagle and terrier, his hound-dog “aroos” are as almost as long as his body. He stands in ballet’s first position most of the time, if he’s not in full frog-legged sploot.

He came into our lives after we lost our two senior dogs — we like to think they sent him to us. Leo was part of a dumped litter, but Underdog Rescue in California saved him and his brothers and sisters. We weren't sure we were ready for another dog so soon, but one look at that speckled belly and we were in love.

Leo loves everyone he meets, especially if they’re holding a treat! His unique black spots are his solar panels, charging up his tail for happy wags…until it’s time for a snooze. He made the cross-country move with us recently, and loves his new home in Charlotte!
