Your Pet's Quirks
Badger hasn't met a toy he doesn't like, a person he doesn't love, or attention he doesn't want. He loves attention so much that he'll bark at the door and pretend someone is there just so you go over to him. If you stop petting him, he is quick to use his paws as if to tell you "no, you're not done yet." He also has a serious talent when it comes to tug-of-war and running around as fast as he can in the backyard. He also likes watching TV so he can bark at other dogs.

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Badger was found wandering a neighborhood in late February of 2017. He was is bad shape and severely underweight. Fortunately, a good samaritan saw him and brought him to the Pitt County Animal Shelter. Due to his extreme emaciation and lack of muscle strength, he needed special care so he was picked up by the HSEC. He was estimated to be about 4 months old. Badger's now mom is on the HSEC Board & works at WNCT. When she heard his story, she had to meet him, so he came in for the WNCT weekly Pet Visit segment. She immediately knew he was meant for her! She brought him home and he became the perfect addition to her family! This once frail, sick ,and shy puppy is now an 80-pound love bug. He knows no stranger and accepts every pet, kiss, and snuggle with tail wags and dog licks.
