Your Pet's Quirks
Shortly after we rescued Brees he developed myelitis and his jaw locked shut so he was tube fed for four months. That experience and the steroids he is on for the rest of his life elevated a deep appreciation for anything HE thinks is edible to an obsession! He is a great leaner -- on other dogs, his doggie parents, or whatever will support his weight. A true sweetheart and a master at navigating the world with a cone on his head!

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Brees was rescued while in foster care after he and his brothers and sisters were found in the bottom of an oil barrel in a burlap sack as puppies. We were told that he was full-grown and 4 years old, but soon learned that was not true when he grew enough to have his head clear the kitchen counter and attempted to train him (we also learned a lot about hounds). He loves playing with other dogs and hanging out with almost anyone who will rub his ears and massage his hips!
