Your Pet's Adoption Story
Peanut, a 12 year old Snowshoe, went to HSFN as an owner surrender. My goal in rescuing Peanut was to keep my husband company (he has Alzheimer's) while I was at work. While he wasn't a "cat person" we needed a pet that didn't have to rely on him for its basic needs. I brought Peanut home and within a couple of days...she owned him. There is nothing he won't do for her as he loves her greatly!

Peanut came into our lives at a time when we both needed her love, without a doubt she is now our world.
