Your Pet's Adoption Story
Belly was the calmest dog in the adoption tent at Walktoberfest. My wife was immediately taken with her. We had no idea until we signed the adoption papers that the dog we were taking home had been found covered in mud and filth in the middle of a busy San Antonio highway; that she was likely a puppy mill breeding dog; and that she had probably fended for herself for several days before being rescued.

You would think a dog with those experiences would be skittish and traumatized, but she's always been the calm in the middle of whatever has been going on in our lives. She's a lovable goofball whose shown us how quickly one little dog can become your best friend (and co-pilot on many a Dunkin' Donuts run, too!).
