Your Pet's Adoption Story
Mocha was an unplanned adoption. I visited HSFN one day in March 2015 just to get my "puppy fix", but when I saw her in the kennel, the only dog not barking as I walked by, I had to meet her. Her timid but sweet demeanor won me over. I learned later that at only 1 year old, she had already been returned TWICE. I had to give her that third chance! Her older brother, Myles, has been a great role model and she has learned very quickly how to be a "good girl". She is still unsure and a little awkward sometimes but always makes me laugh. One unique thing about her is that she doesn't lick at all. Instead, she "paws", pulling your hand closer, when she is excited and wants your attention or for you to pet her! So happy I gave this lovebug a chance!
