I didn’t see him at first as he was in the back but my mom pointed him out to me. That’s when I saw his precious nervous face and said “let’s see him.” So we walked him and (I have a soft heart for nervous dogs) he was so scared and when we go back into the building some young boys wanted to play with and pet him. Dexter then ran behind my legs and shook like a leaf. That was the moment I crouched down and told him I would keep him safe forever. I took him home that same day.
