Your Pet's Story
My family adopted Regina and her sister Cady in January 2014 when they were 3.5 months old. They had been living with their mother and human caregivers, but the caregivers preferred not to keep the kittens. When they first arrived at our house, they were so afraid of their new surroundings that they stayed in the basement on my daughter's pink plush Dora chair for around a week before they felt comfortable enough to explore the rest of the house. Now they consider the entire house to be their sovereign realm and have trained their human subjects to serve their feline needs.
