1) Take a photo of your pet or submit one you already have.
2) Write a brief (2-3 sentences) description about your pet and why they are so special.
3) Register your pet on the 2026 HSLM Calendar Contest Page. There is registration fee of $20; this will include 20 votes for your pet.
4) Share your contest page with friends and family through your social media channels! Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated. Those who donate $10.00 or more will receive a tax-receipt.
5) The 12 pets with the most votes will be chosen to be featured in the 2026 HSLM Calendar, and have the opportunity to participate in a mini photo shoot session with a professional photographer.
6) The contest runs from 9:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 until 5:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, June 27, 2025.
