Rules

You must 18 years of age or older to submit a photo.

No photos with inappropriate or that are derogatory in nature will be accepted.  HSNV/A3P also reserves the right to remove a photo should it be determined to be inappropriate.  No photos showing animal abuse in any form will be accepted and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Once submitted, photos become the property of and under the control of Humane Society of Northern Virginia/Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets. The photos will be used for fundraising purposes in the calendar contest. Photos will also be used on HSNV/A3P's Facebook and Instagram pages for the purpose of promoting the calendar contest.

Please submit photos of pets only; no people. The site will allow you add your pet's name, a short caption, your pet's age and city if you wish to include that. The pet's name is needed at minimum.

The top 13 pictures receiving the most votes will be the winners for placement on the Months of the Calendar and the top vote winner will be featured on the Cover in the 2022 calendar. The board of Humane Society of Northern Virginia/Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets will decide the winner of a tie.

We will post weekly results on Facebook and Instagram.

There is no limit to the number of photos submitted or the number of votes taken per picture.
