When I adopted Jade from HSOMC last November, she was a scared, matted Goldendoodle who couldn’t even see through her overgrown fur. She had been abandoned in a house and was completely unsure of the world around her. Watching her transformation has been nothing short of incredible, she’s gone from trembling in the corner to greeting every day with pure joy and confidence. Now almost three years old, Jade is the happiest, goofiest, and most loyal dog I’ve ever met. She loves every person and animal she meets and has a natural gift for spreading smiles. She’s also become a familiar face at many HSoMC events, proudly returning to the place that gave her a second chance. Jade is living proof that love, patience, and a fresh start can turn fear into happiness.
