Charlie Goose was rescued by CARE for Animals in Little Rock after found running the streets of Malvern and being in their shelter. He was placed in the Paws in Prison program (Arkansas Paws in Prison is committed to rehabilitating inmates and giving shelter dogs a second chance at life through a mutually beneficial, inmate instructed, canine training program). In October of 2018, he was adopted by his "furever" family Lacey, Samuel, and Jax (the cat). Although he's a blue heeler, he is a big couch potato. Instead of chasing cattle he prefers to snooze in various places in the nice AC and play with his stuffed toys. He's a great travel companion and has already explored 7 new states since he was adopted. He is loyal, obedient, sweet... and can never say no to peanut butter!
