Our dog’s name was Spot when we found her at PCHS in March 2019. That name did not suit her at all, so we changed it to Tess when we adopted her. She didn’t present herself well from her kennel at PCHS, jumping on the gate and barking viciously at passersby—probably the reason she hadn’t been adopted in the year and a half she was there. We saw something beyond that, however, and took her home with us. Turns out, Tess is a sweetheart and is the cuddliest, most loving dog we have ever owned. She is perfect for our family!
