How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
The impact he’s had on my life can’t really be measured in moments, it’s in the small daily things. The way he greets me like I’m the best part of his world. The way he made our house feel like home. The way his presence alone could calm anxiety and bring joy into a room. He has a way of sensing pain before anyone says a word. When someone is sad, he stays close. When someone cries, he rests his head on them like he’s carrying part of the hurt. I’ve watched him comfort people in ways humans sometimes can’t.

How did your dog become a part of your family?
He was abandoned on the Navajo Reservation and jumped into our vehicle at a gas station. From that moment on, he chose us and we chose him right back
