Your Cat's Story or Bio
Figgy was a wild cat that hunted for her food. She started taking shelter under our back porch but would not let anyone close. I began leaving dry cat food out for her but she wouldn't take a bite. My adopted daughter, (9) MiaBelle played in the backyard and I noticed Figgy getting closer to her each day. Mia followed my directions and let her be. Then the strangest thing began to happen. Figgy was bringing her hunted prey back and setting them down near Mia's feet. Mia was able to pet her head for a short time. Soon, Figgy started laying down near where Mia played and when Mia moved Figgy would follow. Now Figgy will come inside in spite of our dogs and lay down for a bit and then return to her outdoors. It's almost like she knew Mia was adopted, and so let Mia adopt her!!
