How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
I’m a veterinarian in the area and Doug has acted as the resident therapy dog everywhere I’ve worked! On our bad days and on our good days, he’s always willing to accept a hug, pets, and snacks from the vets, technicians, and CSRs who love him. The last few years have been trying for those of us in veterinary medicine and Doug has seen us through all of it and kept all of us a bit more sane and joyful. He’s also acted as a blood donor and has helped or saved several of his canine friends as well. He’s most certainly a special guy, and I feel very lucky to have him to share with everyone!

How did your dog become a part of your family?
I was on an externship at HSSA and I did his vet exam.
