How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
This is Lola! I can think back to when we first brought her home. She was so confused and had an insecure look on her face. I can only imagine what she’d gone through wandering the busy streets of Tucson for so long.
Fast forward to now, almost 3 years later, and her facial expression and energy, in general, are totally different. Lola basically says “thank you” every moment of every day with how she acts now and that sweet smile she gives us when posing for a picture. It’s amazing to see her transition and that “We” were able to give her this new life to experience. I could give stories for every one of our dogs but this would end up being pages and pages long. What I’m trying to say here is that seeing your dog’s gratitude and appreciation will rub off on you and every single one of our adopters would agree and makes you feel alive. They give you unconditional love you never knew you needed.

How did your dog become a part of your family?
She was found on the streets of Grant and Alvernon by my sister in law. She called us right away and my husband and I fell in love with her
