How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Shafer has been an inspiration to all who have known or met her. She was to be put down when she was three years old but braved 3 major surgeries to hang in there. Then when she was 8 she was given 12 months to live having been diagnosed with cancer. She is still going strong, happy, healthy and a blessing to her family and friends.

How did your dog become a part of your family?
She came to us from a family in Oregon when she was just a puppy.
