How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Kindest dog. Even though she has multiple health issues that require daily pills, monthly injections, and frequent vet visits, she still is happy and always has a smile on her face and a wag in her tail. Nothing makes her happier than just to be with you or to bark at the Ups truck. At doggie daycare she was selected to room/play with new incoming puppies as she was so gentle and loving towards them. When they would cry, she would comfort them and try to distract them with play. She doesn’t even get mad when her big sister Gertie steals her favorite toy or always finds the treat that Lucy tries to hide for later. Such a good, faithful pup with sad eyes and a kind, happy heart!!

How did your dog become a part of your family?
Lucy was the runt of her litter from an unscrupulous breeder and nobody wanted her. She has multiple health issues but we would never trade her!!
