Terrier Mix, 13 years.

How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
He brings so much light to the lives of everyone in my family. Taking him on his walks during the pandemic kept me going. We love him with all our hearts. It’s a joy to watch him run and jump and wag his tail. He greets us with so much excitement when we come home, he even does victory laps. When the world is challenging, he cheers me up. He gives me an excuse to spend more time outside, appreciating my neighborhood and my neighbors. He makes me laugh when he gets flowers all over him when he sniffs in bushes and he doesn’t even realize it. His tails sticks up when we walk because he’s so happy. Everyone who sees him wants to pet him and says he’s cute and sweet so he brings joy to our neighbors as well. My family and I take him up to Mount Lemmon to run around in the fall leaves and the snow and he absolutely loves it and he makes these hikes so worth it. He is such a mischievous goofball and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We can’t imagine a life without our dog Deli!

How did your dog become a part of your family?
We are his sixth owners. His previous owners could no longer take care of him. His name is Deli because his first owners found him at a Deli.
