How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Lola is my best friend and mentor! As a teacher during remote learning, Lola's sweet demeanor kept me and my students going strong. Teaching from home was draining and Lola would sit on my lap quite often as I taught, where students could hear Lola snoring in the background loudly. Some days during class or after school we would have "meet your Dog" day, a show and tell where students introduced their dogs or pets. Of course Lola was always apart of it, which put smiles on student faces. Lola was a trooper dressing up in different doggie fashions and sweaters. During those difficult times Lola help me emotionally, mentally and physically everyday, to continue to work hard at building amazing bonds between me and my students through a screen.
