Rescue mutt (dna test has several breeds but mostly husky and Samoyed), approximately 1.5 years old

How has your dog impacted your life or the lives of others?
Derry has been a wonderful addition to our home. We rescued him nearly 2 years ago. We decided to add a family member as our oldest 12 year old lab/husky (the big labusky), Murray, was slowing down and our middle dog, Taco, was still young. Our oldest passed away last summer and Derry has been a huge emotional support to Taco and to us. He and Murray were incredibly close so he's been grieving, but he and Taco have lifted each other up through their grief. He loves all his people and the dog park friends he's made. He's a smuggler for sure!

How did your dog become a part of your family?
Derry was found in a cardboard box, abandoned by the side of the road in the middle of winter in CO. We saw him on the rescue site and fell in love
