What makes me special (from your dog's perspective)
When I was near my human mom, I could smell something different on the right side of her chest. I kept sniffing, whining, and pawing on her leg to try to get her to notice. I was right! She finally decided to go to the doctor to get it checked out, and she found out she had breast cancer. I stuck with her through her surgery and chemotherapy. (That smells different, too.) I stayed by her side the whole time and tried my best to help her make it through. We conquered that disease together, and now she is in remission. My human mom rescued me when I was abandoned as a puppy. I thought nobody wanted me, but she did. I am so glad I was able to rescue her.
