This sweet girl made a long journey from Gilbert to Tucson and immediately brightened our family’s lives soon after losing our beloved poodle Koko. Described as “not good with other dogs” she inexplicably connected instantly with our other rescue dog Mort. (If you ask him, he saved her, not us.) They quickly became lasting friends, and it is her mission to keep him young and on his toes. She’s been working hard at training to be a good girl, and she has an endless amount of love and kisses to give. Becoming a therapy dog is her ultimate quest. But even if she falls short, she’s already made a wide circle of people (and animals) happier by her very presence, ungraceful antics and crooked grin.
