Tell us about your pet(s)
In March 2022, Baxter showed up at my house in the desert and hung out at the corral with the horses. He was very young, maybe 10-12 weeks, thin and frightened. We called him “Growler” at first because he would use his mighty voice when we got too close and again whenever he ate. He spent most of the summer outside braving the wild. We provided food, water, and a shady cool resting area until one day in late July when he raced to the house and hid on the screened patio. And stayed. He is now indoors, vaccinated, chipped and neutered. He loves his cat tree, his cat friends and mouse toys. And takes cat naps with his beloved Llama.
