Mickey

Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Mickey (formally Nathan, although he had no clue what his name was, so I really don’t think that was his name ) 2 wks ago. He was rescued by the Humane society of Tampa from a kill shelter. We had no background information on him. I don’t think he was ever treated badly, I think he was loved very much and either he got lost or his owner might have passed away and there was no one to take him. As soon as I saw him online I just knew I had to go get him.

Luckily because of his scruffy demeanour and sadness in his crate no one adopted him before I could get in to see him. We have been truly blessed with this little guy, he won’t leave my side, everywhere I go he follows me. He is so worried I might not be there so literally follows me from room to room however comfortable or fast asleep he is there is the sound of his little feet galloping behind me!

He is wonderful with my son Felix and he adores my son’s pony Bertie so much that he always wants to get up on the saddle with my son.
He has been with us such a short time but we would be lost without his light, fun quick step, loyalty and love. We are so lucky.
