A 4 to 5 month old kitten showed up on the front porch one August morning 10 years ago . He made himself to home .

It was several years before learning he belonged to a neighbor's litter a mile away . Socks was a natural name for him .

He has Mitten paws and uses the left paw to pick dry feed out of his bowl . Socks is always at the door to greet you . He is a snuggler .
