Your Pet's Bio/Story
I adopted Simi in 2013 from another rescue organization. She had been given up 3 times previously and I gave her a warm, loving home with lots of treats, toys, walks, cuddles and swimming. Simi passed in Aug. 2023. She was a handful, at first, not all the lovable, but I grew to fall in love with her. She was incredibly smarter, tenacious, hated fruit and vegetables (go figure), and loved making snow angels whether in snow or in the grass. She had this wonderful smile that greeted me everyday. She made me laugh with her antics and oh yes, she liked licking dishes/utensils in the dishwasher, kind of a prewash, even the pan from some type of apple casserole - the one and only time she ate fruit. Her name, Simi, is a nickname I called her - real name was Simcha which means blessing or joy in Hebrew.
