Since you put his photo on your Calendar Photo contest flyer, I had to enter Sooty,
Handsome Sooty came to us from the Dumb Friends League during the pandemic. He was one of the few remaining cats and was designated as ‘over stimulated’ - likely to bite and scratch. He had been there for a long time. So we brought him to our mountain home. Apparently the cat had never been outside.
Biting was his way of saying “no”. But not for long…He’s now a very happy, mellow kitty who goes out only during the daytime. Like a good dog, he stays close to home and always comes running when I call out “Sooty!”
This happy photo was taken a few weeks after we adopted him. Soot is a very grateful, loving cat and a wonderful companion.
